![]() Tribes of Midgard is now available on PC and PlayStation 5. It's going to be interesting to see if Gearbox and Norsfell have got any new content updates and fixes necessary in Tribes of Midgard, as those would be welcomed by the community at large. It seems like a reasonable bet, however, that it could come out on July 27th, which will be the one-year anniversary of its PC/PlayStation release. Since there aren't any official announcements promoting the game, there's no word on possible Switch and Xbox release dates either. This means that getting acquainted with Tribes' systems and features will need to be a priority for new players. The game might seem like a straightforward Norse-themed hack 'n' slash, but many of its features are drawn from fully-fledged survival games, and it even has elements of tower defense present. On that note, interested players ought to keep in mind that there are many mistakes one could make in Tribes of Midgard. Its short progression beats and cel-shaded graphics will be a good fit on Nintendo Switch, and there's bound to be an audience of players eager to join in on Xbox platforms, too. The ESRB listing makes mention of its top-down perspective gameplay and mild, fantasy-level violence, but it's also worth keeping in mind that the game is rather beautiful and satisfying to play. Hil Vikings, Today we have a lot of exciting news to share with you We have been hard at work behind the scenes and now we can finally announce that Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga will be coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on August 16th Season 3 is massive ( our biggest update by far) delivering. Players found many things to love in Tribes of Midgard, although it's plainly obvious that the game is far from perfect. Though players have been wondering if Tribes of Midgard was coming to Nintendo Switch since the game's initial release, back in July 2021, there hasn't been much information available on the topic up until now. Parents interested in playing the game with their kids shouldn't be worried, either, as its ESRB description is expectedly tame. Namely, Tribes of Midgard has just been rated by ESRB for Xbox and Nintendo Switch platforms, and though this doesn't necessarily mean that there's an imminent release pending, odds are good that this isn't a far-future plan, either. The game may soon open up its doors for a significantly bigger player base, however. Tribes of Midgard, the Norse-themed survival RPG published by Gearbox's game publishing branch and developed by Norsfell, has been out on PC and PlayStation 5 for a fair few months now, having attained generally mixed-to-positive review ratings across both platforms.
